As a side note... I have not yet seen the film... But don't you think it seems (from the title) that all of Matthew McGonoughy's ex girlfriends are mysteriously dead? That doesn't sound like a comedy at all. It sounds a bit dark.

Matthew... Stop killing your girlfriends. Just break up like a normal person.
